Kenneth Tusubira, is a well-rounded performer with a colorful career to date in music, comedy, dance, theatre and modelling. His passion for the performing arts is best expressed through music and dance and his exceptional talent for song composition, vocals, East African percussion and the guitar.
Kenneth Tusubira was well on his way to making a name for himself in the Ugandan entertainment industry prior to immigrating to Australia in 2010. Tusubira's multifaceted experiences include; ranking as one of Uganda's top six stand-up comedy acts in a reality TV series (produced by Endemol South Africa), to performing in the highly popular Ugandan gospel-pop outfit, 'Sauti' (The Voice). Sauti recorded a number of highly popular tracks and enjoyed a vibrant following both in Uganda and Kenya.
Kenneth secured the star role as a victim of war in renowned Ugandan playwright, Alex Mukulus' musical “The Journey to Self-Realisation” and has choreographed dance pieces for the benefit of Queen Elizabeth II during her last visit to Uganda in 2007. Kenneth also secured a stint on 2006’s award-winning movie “The Last King of Scotland” with big names Forest Whittaker and James McAvoy.
Kenneth has worked as a music and dance teacher for African based NGO's and is a member of numerous dance, rhythm and percussion ensembles in Sydney, Australia.
